A Reader's Review
“Ancient Wisdom & Modern Leadership, Insights for Timeless Innovation & Success, is a book for innovators creators and leaders.”
In this treatise, Anthony Nayagan seeks to encourage people to create a conscious connection, whereby they can create in duality, with the divine. And, by creating divinely from our core spirit we assure a high quality of shared and personal legacies. This book instructs that just past our mind lies our spirit, and there the true glory of creative endeavor can be undertook.
For such a complex compound, it goes down easily- warmly infusing the reader with an invoked sense of endless capacity. Similar to the musings of CS Lewis’ “Mere Christianity”, there is an approach here that goes beyond ideology, though several are explored.
The theistic activism recommended ask us to look inward until we find divinity, and then even further. The goal being an ongoing evolution as we access the divinity in ourselves while we create, as we innovate, and as we lead.
It is easy to be on board with his optimistic embrace of human creative potential and his material is well written. This is compelling, and often excellent advice for navigating the world as the person we would rather be.
There is an offering here in the form of the flattering expectation that we- through consciousness and connection and incorporating of those – will keep the phenomenal simultaneously awesome and accessible .
Per the advice and observations made in “Ancient Wisdom & Modern Leadership, Insights for Timeless Innovation & Success” attainment of success that results in greater purpose, engagement, and fulfillment is the work of our spirit- and that spirit should be put to work in creative, contributing action. I think that Mr. Nayagan is onto something.
I am grateful that I was given the opportunity to have an opinion on this book , and I know that I will be applying some of what I learned from the text to my own professional and personal life and isn’t that really the sign of some thing that was worth reading?
